On this magazine the title is big and bold and is a bright red which contrasts against the dark background. At the top you can see a small picture of Pete Doherty, this picture is off balance and could show that he is behind bars and his whole life is mess. The main title is positioned in the centre of the page to show its importance and it is presented in two different colours to attract the reader’s eye. There’s a quote on the bottom left to give an idea of what the magazine contains. The bottom left hand side of the page it states some features of the magazine. It is written in white writing to contrast against the red background it has. They use this effect so it will catch the reader’s attention and they feel inclined to read the rest of the magazine. The main background picture of Tom Clarke attracts the target audience, which is rock music fans; because you can see that he is holding a guitar and singing at the same time.
